DIET Bullettin published

               First issue of the the DIET bulletin named  INSPIRE is published on september5th  at an educational meeting held at the DIET Kollam Kottarakkara. This endevour is initiated bu Sri Dileepkumar, Lecturer, PSTE faculty with all the support and blessings of Sri. Janaardanakkurup. (Senior lecturer PSTE and Principal- in -charge). This bullettin,says sri Dileep, is meant for energizing and enriching the teachers as well as the teacher trainees for making their classroom activities more effective . It is expected that  the items included in this bulletin would encourage teachers to use this bulletin as a reference material and at the same time to contribute to the next issue so that sharing of ideas become possible." He added "We consider it a pleasure to publish it on the teachers day it self as it is meant for the teachers


                      The editorial board of the  bullettin included Smt Kumari Mini VP, Sri K.R Muraleedharan Pilla, Dr. Sheejakumari  and Sri GP Gopakumar apart from the editor Sri. Dileepkumar and chief Editor Sri Janaardanakkuruppu- Principal in charge.

NEWS LETTER PUBLISHED

DIET Kollam has published a newsletter named "Samanwayam" under the leadership of Dr. Mercy Samuel. DRU faculty, DIET Kollam who acted as the editor of the news letter.

Ganitha Assembly  at TM UPS Thazhuthala(Chathannoor BRC , Kollam District) 

         when the tender minds joins with the  helping hands of teachers, new mathematics geniuses arise with 

novel ideas. Here is one such an endeavor  - GANITHA ASSEMBLY  in TM UPS Thazhuthala . This 

started with a  'ganitha prayer', incorporating mathematics even in the morning prayer in the assembly.

  

  When the tender lips sung the prayer, even the school premises became thrilled with ecstasy. 

                   

                   The prayer was followed by a Ganitha news bulletin including the share market details , market

details,etc- all related to  mathematics. The students were also standing in geometrical shapes like circle, 

triangle , rectangle etc. The mass drill was also performed in a peculiar way, taking turns shapewise. Then 

The Ganitha gaanam (Mathematics music followed) . The pledge was taken in Sanskrit  language, a unique 

feature of this assembly. The whole events were controlled by the students themselves.

          

             The Ward member Sunilkumar , PTA president Prasad P, BPO Sri John J     and BRC trainer GV Chacko  were present during the assembly.

Environment day celebrations in the DIET

  World environment day was celebrated in the DIET Auditorium   started with a prayer. Kumari Seetha, Second year TTC student chaired the function. Kumari  Chithra made the  welcome speech and Sri Janardana kurup inagurated the function, Kumari Lekha TTC trainee presented the seminar  report. After that the trainees sung a environment day song composed by Dr. Sheejakumari, lecturer DIET  Kollamand tuned by sri RK Ramadas , lecturer DIET Thiruvananthapuram.Vote of thanks was made by kumari Neethumol, TTC trainee.

 A poster competition and environment quiz was also conducted in this  connection. Seedlings of trees were planted in the DIET campus
